Founded in 2014, CamSoda is a steadily rising star in the adult webcam world and operates as a “freemium” cam site. This means that members enjoy free conversation with the performers and spend in-site tokens to move their show along. Despite having a private show feature, many CamSoda models tend towards a group viewing experience and set goal amounts for their shows. As a site member, you have the ability to follow your favorite models, which sorts them at the top of your home page when both of you are logged in. Many performers also upload clips for sale on their profile for your viewing pleasure! Unlike some cam sites, CamSoda models can link their social media and other platforms so you can stay connected and updated when you log off.

One strikingly unique feature I noticed on CamSoda’s homepage was its “dating” tab. The link redirects you to a site called “Instabang,” where you can connect with singles or couples looking for fun!

One Camsoda token converts to about $0.10 USD. These can be purchased in bundles starting at $10.99 for 100tks. You can use these tokens to contribute to a cam model’s goal or pay for a private show. Since the models themselves set the per minute rate on private shows, the prices on these will vary.

A renewable monthly membership on CamSoda costs $19.99/mo. This includes 200tks, ad removal, and the option to adjust tip sounds.

CamSoda Review Summary

Overall, CamSoda appears to be just one in a sea of similar cam sites but we tend to think of it as one of the more graphic and extreme adult webcams destinations. Aside from hosting big names like Alexis Texas, there aren’t any standout features that would keep me coming back over other per say. Tags are very haphazardly arranged, making it difficult to search for your desired categories without making use of the search bar. CamSoda takes care to place ads off to the side of the screen, but they are constantly moving and distracting from the models we’re trying to see. It seems that without bizarre advertising tactics like live-streaming an MMA event, CamSoda is sparse of features and smart web design, relying almost entirely on the star-power of models themselves for engagement.

That said it’s still a fun place for nude cams chat.  While it isn’t a bad site in and of itself, there are other “freemium”-formatted cam sites, like Chaturbate, that place higher on my personal list of top cam sites. CamSoda is definitely gaining traction though, especially in the United States, and has a strong presence in the webcam community. Considering that CamSoda has only been operative for five years, this website is definitely one to watch for updates and improvements.
