This past week a new freemium adult webcam site called StripChat.com was launched. What makes this particular launch noteworthy is the considerable backing StripChat has which gives them an upper hand to potentially become a top adult webcam site in due time. Many new live webcam sites have come online in recent few years, but the common struggle new live webcam sites face is either a lack of traffic or the lack of models; both components are of course critical for success and work hand in hand.
StripChat.com on the other hand shares the same parent company (ownership) as the operators of one the worlds single biggest porn tube sites, xHamster.com.
Previously users of xHamster tube site were offered live cams via XHamsterLive.com and before that xHamter Cams. xHamster Cams is still a Streamate white label while xHamster Live was their own proprietary platform; but that was replaced this week with the new StripChat.com offering.
StripChat is Freemium live webcam site that is a token based. When we first visited the site the day of launch there were some 80 models performing.
The next time we visited this new site that number was twice as high at 163 performers online at one. With the obvious success of the xHamster tube site and the traffic that this tube can generate for live webcam, it’s a fair bet that StripChat is poised for considerable growth.
There is no word yet on when the ‘Work With Us’ webmasters link will be activated which will inevitable be the StripChat.com affiliate program.
