Tim Rogers of Fusion.net wrote a very interesting story titled,“How trans women are getting ahead in the adult webcam industry” which highlights how trans women in Colombia are able to find higher salaries and safer working conditions due to the rise in use-age of adult webcam sites.

Some will question the premise that many of these trans women would otherwise be stuck in other less safe sex based services.

However, one hardly needs any empirical evidence to safely assume that opportunities are in fact very limited for trans women in many cultures.
